The wax is a kind of mineral wax, is also a kind of petroleum wax; It is from crude distillation of income by solvent refined oil fractions, solvent dewaxing or the wax frozen crystallization, squeezing wax off to cerate, again by solvent oil, refined and take off of sheets and needle crystal. Also called crystal shape wax, carbon atomic number approximately 18 ~ 30 mixture of hydrocarbons, the main group is divided into linear paraffins (about 80% ~ 95%), and a small number of branch chain with individual alkanes and take long side chain monocylic cycloparafin hydrocarbon (together content below 20%).
