The Beyond WhiteSpa Whitening Accelerator's high-intensity cold-light activates the Beyond WhiteSpa Whitening Gel, a special whitening formula that contains hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and 20 nanometer silicon dioxide (SiO2), along with several other special ingredients. The one-hour Beyond WhiteSpa procedure oxidizes the pigmentation of 16 or more teeth through to the dentin layer, restoring them to a beautiful, natural white. Beyond WhiteSpa uses the most advanced technology to produce a cold-light with a wavelength of 480-520 nanometers. The light is filtered through over 12,000 fibers, reaching a total length of one mile, and finally through two optical-lenses, each coated with more than 30 protective layers, removing infrared and ultraviolet light completely.

By using the latest optical techniques, Beyond operates at a lower temperature than similar products, thus avoiding excessive irritation of the nerves in the teeth. The one-hour procedure is very effective for teeth that have been stained by smoking or stain-causing food and drinks, such as coffee or tea. It also whitens teeth discolored by medicines, such as tetracycline, or speckled by fluoride.
