Since its establishment in 1992, as a professional manufacturer of optical fiber cables standing at the far front of the optical communication sector, Jiangsu hengtong is dedicated to the research and development of latest optical fiber cable technology, with the first-class technologies, excellent talents and world-advanced production testing equipment imported from Austria, U.S., Finland and Japan. And its test center has since 1997 been the Optical Cable Test Center in East China as designated by the State Administration of Radio, TV & Film. Since 1998, a Provincial-Level Tech Center and Post-Doctoral Tech Innovation Center has been set up. It possesses several products with self-contained intellectural properties. The recently developed new products, such as extra multi-core fiber optic cables, integrated incoming cables, and ADSS cables, are widely applied. The company has passed ISO9001 quality management system certification, DNV ISO14001 environment management system certification and DNV ISO18001 occupational health and safety management certification. On the basis of the implementation of TQM (total quality management) system, the company takes lead in adopting computerized LAN to conduct onsite management (pilot project of National Information Based Management) in the industry and has completely introduced ERP (enterprise resources planing) management system. The company possesses a high-level research an development team including five senior experts in the communication field. 35% of the staff hold college degree or above.
