Common Name: Mother-in-Laws tongue, Snake Plant
Origin: Africa
This is the plant that is practically impossible to kill. It's very easy to grow.
The leaves are sword-like, stiff and sturdy without being sharp. Growth is very
slow, and the plants can be left undisturbed for many years. Sansevieria is good
for indoor use and found to be most effective in removing formaldehyde, benzene,
and carbon monoxide from the air. There are several varieties available and other
color choices in our nursery. The variety is decorative in groups.
